Electronic Giving on Realm
Trinity is making exciting changes to our church’s online community! Realm Connect will make it easier for you to give and provide you with more ways to minister to each other online. While this allows new features and functionality for our church, it will require that you consider which option is best for your currently scheduled recurring gifts.
1) Keep your recurring gifts as they have been, but add Realm Connect access for new gifts.
2) Change your recurring gifts and reschedule them through your Realm Connect account.
3) Start making recurring or one-time electronic gifts through your Realm Connect account.
Once you receive an invite to create an account in our new online community, please use the link in that email and follow the steps to create a password. Once you have an account, you can sign in and set up your scheduled donation.
1) To keep your recurring gifts as they have been, you do not need to do anything. However, creating an account with Realm Connect will allow you to view your giving history any time you wish. You will be able to see progress made toward your current pledges and check to see that your gifts have been recorded. Please understand that sometimes it takes up to 10 business days for gifts given by check or online through our previous online giving system to appear in your Realm Connect account.
2) If you wish to change your recurring gifts and reschedule them through your Realm Connect account, please follow these steps. To ensure that your gifts continue as you intend and you aren’t doubling your donation, you’ll need to delete your scheduled gift with our previous online giving system accessed through TrinityJamestown.com and click “Give Online” and sign in to your account. Then open your Realm Connect account, select Giving and enter the amount you wish to give and the fund you wish to support following the directions on your screen. Please complete these steps by October 31, 2022 so that your changes are completed long before year-end giving statements are generated.
